Texas Police Officer Resigns After Pulling Gun on Unarmed Teens

The Texas police officer who was caught on video pushing a teenager in a swimsuit to the ground at a pool party has resigned.

The McKinney police chief says Eric Casebolt’s actions at the pool are indefensible.

In a YouTube video — he is seen taking out his service weapon and pointing it toward unarmed black teens and pinning a teenage girl to the ground with his knee against her back.

It is unclear how his resignation will impact any charges that can be filed.

Casebolt served ten years with the McKinney Police Department.
