Artwork Stolen From Benzie County’s Michigan Legacy Art Park

Police are trying to find the person who stole a piece of art from a Benzie County art park.

The art piece was stolen from the Michigan Legacy Art Park in Thompsonville.

The stainless steel fish was an integral part of a larger piece called Big Two Hearted.

It’s a Hemingway themed sculpture depicting a riverbed.

The art park is hoping for a quick return of the fish so all can continue to enjoy the piece in its entirety.

If you know where the art piece is you are asked to call police or the art park director at (231) 378-4963, or leave the fish at the park entrance.

No questions will be asked.
