Health Official Warn People Not to Swim in Parts of Downstate River
Health officials are asking people not to swim in parts of a downstate river.
On Monday, about 500 gallons of a suspected oil product spilled in the Clinton River, spreading from Pontiac to Rochester Hills in Oakland County.
The Environmental Protection Agency says most of the oily product was removed.
Booms are in place to catch anything left over.
The agency is working with the state to cleanup and investigate the spill.
