GTCo Woman Accused of Embezzling Thousands From Qdoba

Grand Traverse County deputies have identified a woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Mexican restaurant.

The embezzlement happened at the Qdoba on South Airport Road.

Deputies say a 31-year-old woman was a manager at the restaurant.

She’s accused of stealing up to $14,000 by voiding sales and canceling checks.

Management reported the crime last month.

The incidents are believed to have happened over the past eight months.

Deputies say they will submit a warrant for her arrest by the end of the week.
