New Plan Proposed to Fund Michigan Road Repairs
There’s another plan on the table to raise more money to repair Michigan roads.
But several groups are against the bill.
The bill gets rid of a tax credit for low income families and uses that money for the roads.
Groups against it say keeping the earned income tax credit is crucial to helping low-income families making ends meet.
Supporters of eliminating the credit say it would free up nearly $120 million a year for roads.
