Michigan Technological University President Gets Two Year Extension

Michigan Technological University in Houghton gives its president a two year extension.

Glenn Mroz’s contract was set to expire at the end of June.

But the university says its board of trustees has extended the deal to June of 2018.

Mroz will get a salary increase, and also a housing and car allowance.

The university says the improvements are based on a study of how presidents are compensated.
