Military Jets Escort Plane to JFK Airport After Receiving Anonymous Threat

An Air France airliner was escorted to a New York airport by U.S. military jets Monday after an anonymous threat was made against the flight.

According to the FBI, an anonymous caller said a chemical weapon was aboard the plane.

The plane made an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy Airport.

So far, no chemical weapons have been found on the airliner.

Several other anonymous phone threats have been made against commercial planes, but none have been found to be credible.
