Suspects Confess to Breaking Into Two Roscommon County Homes
Police found suspects in a Roscommon County break-in on Saturday, and they confessed.
It all started when a neighbor in Gerrish Township, on the west side of Higgins Lake, reported hearing someone breaking into a seasonal home.
While officers investigated the scene they saw several people down the road.
When those people saw police, they dashed and went into the woods.
But police found them quickly and questioned them.
They confessed to breaking in and police obtained all of the stolen property.
During this officers also discovered they broke into a second seasonal home in the area.
The suspects are three adults and two minors from the Clarkston, Mich., area.
A police report will be sent to the Roscommon County Prosecutor’s office for charges.
