Cruise Ship Loses Steering Off Bermuda Coast

A cruise ship carrying thousands of people is waiting to be checked after being stuck for hours off the coast of Bermuda.

The Norwegian Dawn lost steering and ran aground near a coral reef.

It’s been stuck for more than six hours overnight.

The ship was on a seven day round trip cruise from Boston to Bermuda.

Cruise line workers say the ship also lost power– but operations were later restored.

Passengers on board are staying positive and preparing for whatever comes next.

The company says the ship is waiting for a full inspection before it continues on the cruise.
