MTM Exploring the U.P. at Kitch-iti-kipi

It’s a natural wonder in the Upper Peninsula that more than 60,000 people make the trip to see each year. Palms Book State Park near Manistique offers visitors a chance to ‘Ride the Raft’ over the Big Spring to see clear to the bottom.

The raft is self-propelled along a steel cable and visitors can see fish at the bottom as well as watch the water pouring into the spring.

Surrounded in legends and tales, the Big Spring is something that cannot be missed on a visit to the Upper Peninsula.

Kalin and Stephanie explored this morning for day one of Exploring The U.P. Week!
