Treetops Says Security Properly Handled Resort Vandalism By U-M Students

We have an update from a resort in Gaylord where University of Michigan students caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.

It happened at Treetops Resort back in January of this year.

Treetops said Thursday hotel security did as good of a job as possible under the circumstances.

Adding they followed proper procedure, including calling state police when behavior got worse.

Treetops also said it is not true the group responsible was allowed to stay on the property after causing damage by making an additional payment.
