Oceana County Teens Accused of Planning to Murder 14-Year-Old Girl

Three Oceana County teens have been arrested and are now facing multiple charges for planning to rape and kill a 14-year-old girl.

It all started in March, when a 14-year-old boy told the Oceana County Sheriff’s department three boys had sexually assaulted him.

The victim also told deputies that the same three boys were planning to kidnap a 14-year-old neighbor girl, rape her and then kill her. According to the victim, the boys also planned to kill the girl’s parents if they got in the way.

After rumors of the plan started spreading around the school, deputies were able to track down the three 14-year-old boys from Hesperia.

The Oceana County Sheriff says the boys went to the girl’s house at midnight, but were scared off by a dog and unable to pull off the plan.

All three boys are facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit rape and conspiracy to kidnap. If convicted, the boys could be sentenced up to life in prison.

All three are being held in the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention Facility.

The boys will be back in court at the end of the month.
