Mistrial Declared in Drunk Driving Case Against MSP Trooper
A Michigan State Trooper arrested for drunk driving in January will have to be retried.
Sammy Seymour, Jr., was arrested with his sister in Mason County for driving with an open container of alcohol in the car.
Seymour had a blood alcohol level of .14 at the time.
The jury couldn’t come to a decision in the case, so the judge was forced to declare a mistrial.
There will be a new pretrial date set later this week.
