Students at a Northern Michigan college will see another tuition hike next year.

Board members met at Ferris State University’s Big Rapids campus to discuss budgeting for next year.

The school decided to increase tuition by more than 2.5 percent for the 2015-2016 academic year.

That puts the average close to $11,000 for Michigan residents.

In addition to the increase, the school approved an operating budget over $210 million.
