Benzie County Deputies Still Searching for School Bus Vandals

The Benzie County Sheriff’s department is still looking for the people responsible for vandalizing multiple school buses.

Sometime over the weekend, 11 tires were damaged on four buses at Frankfort-Elberta Schools.

The sheriff says it looks like someone took a hand drill and punctured a hole in the tires to deflate them.

The damage could cost anywhere between $5,000 and $6,000.

The people responsible could face jail time.

If you have any information, you are asked to the call the sheriff’s department at (231) 882-4484.
