Tropical Storm Ana Loses Momentum
Tropical storm Ana is losing the last of its strength and getting downgraded to a tropical depression.
It still created windy and wet conditions along the coasts of North and South Carolina.
Sunday afternoon the National Hurricane Center said the storm’s highest winds reached 35 miles per hour.
The storm stayed over by the northeastern coast of South Carolina.
But forecasters said it should pick up speed and start moving northeast.
Forecasts in the area called for between two and six inches of rain and coastal flooding.
