Two Inkster Police Officers Involved in Beating Suspended Without Pay
Two Inkster police officers involved in the beating of a black man have been suspended without pay.
Officer Chuck Randazzo is suspended for 15 days and Sergeant Shawn Kritzer is suspended for 30 days.
A union representative says Randazzo was suspended for using excessive force and Kritzer was suspended for not giving Floyd Dent the proper medical attention.
Officer William Melendez was fired last month and charged with assault.
Dash cam video shows Melendez pulling Dent from his car and punching him back in January.
The police chief also quit two days after Melendez was charged.
