Protests Continue in Baltimore Over Freddie Gray Death
Continuing coverage out of Baltimore, this morning.
Police are clashing with protesters, who are angry about an incident where a man died in police custody.
Hundreds of angry demonstrators continue to protest in front of city hall and at the police station.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts says they are investigating why Freddie Gray wasn’t wearing a seat-belt when being taken to the station.
He says there are no circumstances where a prisoner should not wear a seat-belt during transport.
Batts also vows to end Baltimore’s history of police misconduct — saying sometimes officers go too far.
