Dozens Injured After Indiana High School Stage Collapses

More than a dozen people are recovering this morning after a stage gave way during a high school musical.

Students were injured when the stage collapsed during the finale at Indiana’s Westfield Washington High School, late last night.

As they jumped and danced, all of a sudden — the stage floor falls out from underneath them.

The Westfield Police Department says at least a dozen people were injured and at least one person is in critical condition.

Police have already started inspecting the stage.

The school is open for classes today and counselors are available to help the students.
