New Bill Could Create Government Vehicle Tracking Program

There’s a new bill moving through the state capitol that could create a program to track state government vehicles.

Right now, the bill is in Michigan’s legislature.

It would create a GPS pilot program.

The move comes after a state elevator inspector was caught using state time for personal activities on 84 days — including to play golf.

A senate committee approved the measure Thursday.

It’s now pending on the floor.
