Hunters Reminded to Remove Blinds From Woods

It’s time for hunters to remove their blinds.

The U.S. Forest Service says with the spring weather here again, blinds need to be out of the woods, if they’re not already.

Abandoned blinds pose several risks including safety hazards, environmental damage, blight and other issues.

If the state finds an abandoned blind, they will take it down.

Blinds were supposed to be taken off public land no later than the first of this year.
