Six Detroit Residents Indicted for Kidnapping Indiana Teens

A grand jury has indicted six Detroit residents for kidnapping two Indiana teens and holding them for ransom.

Prosecutors in Indiana say John Thomas and five others will face two counts of kidnapping.

They add that Thomas and the others took the teenagers because their older sister had stolen drugs and money from them.

The sister was Thomas’ ex girlfriend.

Prosecutors say the captors even cut one of the teens’ fingers to make him give up the sister’s location.
