Brothers Charged With First Degree Murder in Decades Old Newaygo County Case

New details this morning involving a decades old Newaygo County murder trial. 

Brothers Paul and Matthew Jones have been charged with first degree murder in the 1989 death of Shannon Siders. 

Jury selection starts Tuesday and Wednesday. 

The trial will start April 20th and is expected to last about two weeks. 

Siders’ body was found by a hunter in the Manistee National Forest three months after she disappeared. 

A separate jury will be selected for each brother.
