TC Boat Show Attracts Many Outdoor Enthusiasts

While Saturday may have been a great opportunity to go out and do some garage-saling, the warmer temps have some in Northern Michigan thinking about boating season.

The Traverse City Boat Show gave enthusiasts the chance to see the newest models and trends.

This year pontoon boats are proving to be a popular choice.

Organizers tell us each year, the show attracts more people interested in learning about boating in Northern Michigan.

They say the bounty of lakes and easy access to water make Northern Michigan a prime boating destination.

“The chance to go boating is right outside your door,” said Andrew Macdonald, show organizer. “The nation pays attention to what’s going on with boat sales here. It’s easy to get into boating in Northern Michigan.”

The boat show runs through Sunday at the grand traverse county civic center.
