Iran Nuclear Provision Turns Into Hot Debate

An important provision in the preliminary nuclear agreement with Iran is turning into a hot debate.

It involves the Obama Administration’s promise to re-impose sanctions right away if Iran doesn’t fulfill any part of the agreement– which would limit its nuclear program to peaceful pursuits.

Congress is eager to keep pressure on Iran.

But right now it’s not clear if Obama can guarantee the actions he wants, because it involves penalties the United Nations would have to enforce.
