GM Recalls Chevy Volt for Being Too Quiet

General Motors is recalling more than 64,000 of the Chevy Volt for being too quiet.

It comes after some owners of the car say they’re forgetting to turn it off.

That runs the risk of carbon monoxide building up if the car is parked in a garage.

GM says a free software update will keep the car quiet and automatically shut it off after it sits idle for 90 minutes.
