Michigan Film Incentive Program Vote Scheduled For Today
A vote scheduled for later today could mean a quicker end to Michigan’s Film Incentive Program.
The State House plans to cut the programs funding completely by October 1st.
The move contradicts Governor Rick Snyder’s plan –which would allocate $50 million in next year’s budget and gradually de-fund the program.
Right now the program’s funding goes towards movie production in the state of Michigan
