Leelanau County Woman Admits to Stabbing Husband
A Leelanau County woman admits to stabbing her husband.
Deputies responded to a home in Kasson Township back in December 2014, after Nancy Heffernan’s husband called and said he was stabbed.
Deputies say the couple was arguing, and the fight turned physical. They say Nancy stabbed her husband with a steak knife. He was able to get away and call for help.
Monday, Nancy pleaded guilty to attempted assault with a dangerous weapon.
