Mt. Pleasant hockey suffers 2nd loss

MOUNT PLEASANT – Even with a 5-3 loss to Flint Powers Catholic Central Wednesday night, it’s still a great time to be a Mount Pleasant Oiler hockey player.

The Oilers are ranked 11th in the state in Division 3 (the Chargers are ranked 6th).  It is the first time in the Oilers history that the hockey team has earned a state ranking.

Their 11-2 record is also a great improvement from their seven total wins the previous season.

The Oilers look for their 12th victory of the season against the FNV Griffins Saturday evening at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena.
