That’s just a preview of the headlining act at the Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance Day event.

It’s happening at the State Theatre on Monday.

The Motown Legends Gospel Choir is made of 15 people — they’re all affiliated with motown.

The 82 piece Northwestern Michigan College Children’s Choir will be also perform and present readings on why Dr. King is important to them.

“We are thrilled to be able to share this program with our community,” said Jeff Haas, Building Bridges with Music Founder and Artistic Director. “I love the idea that our very own children from the Children’s Choir will be sharing the stage with these legends.”

The event is at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Tickets are free.
