Northern Michigan’s News Leader reached out to dozens of people who know the Ferguson and Webber families today.
While most didn’t want to go on camera, many talked about Tiffany has a loving mother to her four children and dedicated nurse at a local hospital.
Breelynn Martin spoke with some people who knew the family. She continues our live team coverage from Kalkaska.
Family and friends are definitely mourning the unexpected loss of Tiffany Ferguson and her dad Jim Webber.
Her death has left an entire community in shock.
“You don’t think stuff like that would happen,” said Christy Zattlan.
Ask anyone in town and it’s been a rough day for Kalkaska. Tonight Tiffany Ferguson and Jim Webber are being remembered as great people.
Tiffany was a mother of four.
“I’ve seen her all over the community, smiling her face all the time. Just seemed like a really nice person.”
“They just said she was a really awesome mother and very active. And I know she won mother of the year a couple years ago in Kalkaska,” said Aliza.
She worked at the Kalkaska Memorial Hospital — who also commented on the tragic event.
And her dad Jim Webber also in the community’s thoughts and prayers tonight. He lived here with his wife. Family members say he would help anyone day or night. And that was a true family man, who loved working on Ford tractors.
Northern Michigan’s News Leader also spoke with Kalkaska County Schools who have counselors available to students who need them.
Tiffany leaves behind four children between three and 13 years old. And her father, Jim, leaves behind those four children and his wife, Shirley.
