Gladwin Teenager Injured in Bull Ride Sees Big Community Support

A 17-year-old bull-rider from Northern Michigan has spent more than two weeks in Intensive Care after a bull put his life in danger.

Gladwin-resident Nathan Davis was air-flown to Grand Rapids Spectrum Health when the bull he was riding bucked him off and severely injured him.

Now, weeks in recovery and several close calls later, the small-town youth is getting support from not only his family and friends but from all over the world.

Nine and Ten’s Cody Boyer and photojournalist Melvin Kimbrough met with some of Nathan’s family today as they continue to hope for his recovery.
