Subaru Recalls Five Models for Air Bag Problems

Subaru announced an air bag recall on several of their vehicles.

An undetermined number of Baja, Legacy and Outbacks from 2003-2005, the 2004-2005 Impreza and the 2005 Saab 9-2x from Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The air bags in these vehicles were made by Takata Corp.

The automaker says front passenger inflators can rupture which could cause metal fragments to injure passengers when the air bags deploy.

Subaru says this recall is a precaution.
