Hyundai Announces Three Recalls for More than 419K Vehicles
Hyundai announced three more recalls for more than 419,000 vehicles.
The largest of the three recalls covers 225,000 Santa Fe SUVs from 2001 through 2006 model years because a front coil spring can run and crack in cold weather.
More than 133,000 Sonata cars from 2011 are recalled because brake fluid can leak, causing increased stopping distance.
And more than 61,000 Veracruz SUVs are recalled because oil can leak onto the alternator, causing it to fail and stall the engine.
The automaker says there haven’t been any crashes or injuries. The recalls are expected to begin by the end of September.
