Four Michigan Mental Health Centers Receive Funding

The federal government has awarded Michigan $1 million for mental health services.

Announced Thursday, the state will receive the Affordable Care Act funding to support four health centers.

The US says $250,000 will go to each of the four centers, that includes Thunder Bay Community Health Services in Montmorency County.

The money will be used to establish or expand behavioral health services for more than 5,000 Michigan residents.
