American Volunteers Exposed to Ebola Under Observation

Quarantined and under observation, two Peace Corps volunteers exposed to the Ebola virus are under close watch before they can return to the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is considering raising the travel warning to affected countries to the highest level, telling Americans to avoid any non-essential travel.

The CDC is ready with isolation pods in case it needs to transport anyone stricken with Ebola who needs to be brought back to the U.S.

Ebola has been blamed for more than 700 deaths, including one American, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Two other American health care workers have been exposed.

The CDC says the chances of the outbreak spreading to the U.S. are very low.
