Charlevoix hosts charity hoops game for Keith Haske

CHARLEVOIX – Charlevoix hosted a charity basketball game for former coach Keith Haske Sunday afternoon.  Haske was diagnosed with throat cancer in May.  He is currently in Houston, Texas receiving treatment.

His former players from Charlevoix and St. Francis were invited to play in the event.

There was also a silent auction and bake sale to help raise funds for the family’s medical expenses.

Haske has led both the Charlevoix boys and girls basketball teams to the State Finals.  Now he coaches the St. Francis boys.  He also led the Gladiators to a State Finals appearance two seasons ago.
