Reed City’s Camp Good Grief Helps Families

Handling the grief or sorrow of losing a family member, friend or a even pet can be challenging, especially for young children.

One northern Michigan man is starting a camp to help children and families learn how to cope when tragedy strikes.

Camp Good Grief kicked off Sunday at Albright Park Camp in Reed City.

The four day camp features activities such as keeping a journal, an obstacle course and a grief tool scavenger hunt.

It is all designed to help participants learn to handle grief in a positive way.
