NHTSA Investigates Dodge Chargers for Stalling, Failing Alternators
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating complaints of engines stalling and alternators failing.
This investigation covers about 123,000 Dodge Charger sedans made from 2011 and 2012.
The NHTSA says they have received 14 complaints of alternators stalling and failing.
All of the reported complaints happened when the car was going 40 miles an hour, or faster.
No injuries were reported.
Chrysler says they are cooperating in the investigation. There is no recall at this time, but one could be issued later.
