Computer Glitch Crashes US Passport & Visa Operations
A computer glitch has crashed global U.S. passport and Visa operations.
According to the state department, the glitch has caused major delays in its passport and Visa issuing operations at its embassies around the world.
A spokesperson says the problem was discovered Saturday, and it still hasn’t been fixed.
The issue has stalled the distribution of U.S. passports, Visa’s, and reports of Americans born abroad.
It’s unclear how many people are affected, but one report reveals that some 50,000 applicants were hit in one country alone.
