Michigan Adding Nearly 4,000 Jobs in Nine Approved Projects
Several projects set for Michigan are expected to bring nearly 4,000 jobs to the state.
General Motors plans to create some of them by consolidating engineering jobs.
Auto supplier Challenge Manufacturing plans to build a plant near Lansing.
Solar company Suniva says it will open up shop in Saginaw.
And USA Automotive Trim Systems plans an expansion in Macomb County.
In all, it’s about 3,900 jobs.
Governor Snyder says the projects stem from trade trips to China, Italy and Canada.
