Warm Weather Attracts Beach Goers

With three drownings across the state this past weekend, police are asking people to be careful as they hit the water this week as temperatures rise.

In a town like Ludington, they rely on the beach traffic bringing people to their community so the rising mercury is a welcome sight.

Police are reminding people that even if they are looking to have fun, they have to respect Lake Michigan.

The conditions can change rapidly and things like wind, temperature and rip currents should be watched whenever you hit the surf.
