Grand Traverse Resort Hosts World Deaf Golf Championship

The Grand Traverse Resort is hosting the World Deaf Golf Championship this week.

Today’s rain showers didn’t deter more than 100 players from 14 countries competing on “The Wolverine” and “The Bear.”

It’s actually the first time in 16 years that the championships have been held in the United States.

There will be individual and team competitions at the resort through Friday.

The three individual winners from the last championship two years ago say they’re looking to defend their title this week.
