According to USA today, an average of 38 children have died in hot cars every year in the U.S. since 1998. Here are more facts about child deaths in hot cars. 

Here in Michigan, we already have laws that specifically make it illegal to leave a child unattended in a car. Learn more about the state’s regulations here

But do you think the government should instill tougher laws and regulations, such as driver-reminder alerts or passenger seat sensors?
