Chrysler Recalls 651K SUVs for Short Circuit Problems
The latest vehicle safety recall involves 651,000 Chrysler SUV’s.
Chrysler says it’s 2011 through 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durangos are having short circuit issues.
Vanity mirror lights that have already undergone repairs can short out and start a fire if they are not reassembled correctly.
Chrysler says it has seen the problem only in lighted sun visor mirrors that have been repaired.
Chrysler knows of three injuries caused by the lighted mirror.
But as a precaution, they say the recall applies to all of the vehicles worldwide.
