World’s Tallest Waterslide Opens in Kansas City

If you’re looking for a place to visit this summer, why not see the world’s tallest waterslide.

The slide opened today in Kansas City.

It’s 168 feet high, taller than Niagara Falls.

Get ready for a hike because riders have to walk up 264 steps to the top before they can take the plunge!

Then they slide down in rubber rafts at speeds around 70 miles per hour wearing seat belts.

It’s called Verruckt which means “insane” in German.
