National Cherry Festival: Come for the Cherries, Stay for the Music

The Open Space Concert Stage was rocking the National Cherry Festival tonight.

George Thorogood and the Destroyers hit the stage, with the Matt Pesey Band from Saginaw opening.

Some of the concert-goers came from out of town, and once they realized who was playing, they decided to stay for the music.

Mark Christie is visiting the area for the festival. “We like him, we were checking things to do and my wife told me about this and I said ‘lets get tickets we gotta go.'”

Under the Sun will be playing Thursday night with popular hits from the 90’s.
