Feedback at 5:00: Waiting for Airport Security?

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is rolling out some tougher security standards for passengers on international flights into the U.S.

Passengers will now be asked to turn on their cell phones, tablets and laptops to prove they aren’t explosives.

The change comes after new terrorist threats in Europe and the Middle East.

Since TSA does not have authority at overseas airports, these changes have to be coordinated with foreign governments, airlines and private security companies.

Travelers should not expect these changes to apply to flights inside the U.S.

For today’s Feedback at 5:00, have you ever been impacted by long wait times due to airport security?
