Two Wexford County Inmates Accused of Smuggling Pills into Jail

Two woman face more time behind bars after using their bodies to smuggle drugs into a Northern Michigan county jail.

Both incidents took place at the Wexford County Jail last month.

The prosecutor says the investigation started after Stacy Youngs had supplied another inmate pills, which caused her to overdose.

Youngs had smuggled 80 pills including muscle relaxers into the jail.

Once she was caught, that’s when she revealed another inmate, Kayci-Jo Coombs had also smuggled in anxiety pills.

Youngs faces several charges including bringing contraband into jail. Coombs also faces the same charge.
