UPDATE: Downstate Man Accused of Wife’s Murder
An update on the case of a Detroit area woman whose body was found in a shallow grave in Northern Michigan.
Loyd Dejohn has been charged with first-degree murder, disinterment of a body and aggravated domestic violence.
His wife, Kimberly, disappeared from Warren in mid-May. Her body was found in Cheboygan County’s Koehler Township June 18th.
Police say Kimberly was strangled to death.
A judge entered a not guilty plea on Loyd’s behalf.
He has been in jail since May 30 on assault charges. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
